Resources
The Longmont Assets for Youth Office currently offers a variety of tools and resources to help you learn more about the 40 Developmental Assets and how they can help kids grow up to be competent, caring and responsible citizens.
Customized Training & Assistance
Arrange to have a member of our Speakers' Bureau come to you. Teams of youth and adults or individual speakers are available to deliver customized assets presentations to you or your group. When you decide to include assets in your programs, businesses, or everyday lives, this same team can provide hands-on technical assistance to help you design the best asset-building plan for your situation.
Youth Asset Fund Grant Program
Anyone in Longmont can apply for a grant to develop and implement projects that build assets for youth. Every January, project proposals are reviewed and mini-grants are awarded to selected projects. The Youth Asset Fund is supported through the City of Longmont general fund.
Lending Library
Take advantage of the Assets Lending Library to increase your knowledge of the 40 assets. Books, videos, handouts, posters, and news articles are just some of the tools available at the Library.
